Ty asked: I now own a HP digital camera that works just fine. But before digital came along, I had a Nikon film camera which I just loved. Everytime I see a professional, they are using a Nikon. To me digital can’t even compare to film but it’s nice to be able to see the pictures before they are developed. I have taken thousands of pictures over the years that are still on my SD cards. Don’t get me wrong my digital camera is great and I have developed hundreds of the pictures, but when using digital you just can’t stop at one picture.

Amanda W asked: I am looking for a digital camera that takes the quickest pictures when I push the shutter button. I have a digital that when I push the button it takes about two to three seconds to capture the picture and by the time the picture is captured, my two year old has already moved on. I need a digital camera that is just as fast as my two year old. Thanks!

irol321 asked: We are looking to purchase a digital camera to use in taking photographs of wildlife on our Alaskan vacation this summer. We currently have point and shoot digital cameras but are thinking we should probably get a digital SLR with a telephoto lens. Ease of use would be helpful as we would be novices with this type of camera. Cost is not really an issue as we are looking at this as a once in a lifetime trip and want to make sure we have photos to preserve it. There is no specialty camera store anywhere near where we live so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

keekster asked: My cousin and I really don’t know anything about buying a good digital camera. My cousin needs one and she said she’s willing to pay up to $300 for a camera. She wants one that has a rechargeable battery. If you have any good suggestions about what digital camera to purchase please let me know your opinion and where could we find it brand new with a good value.
Ohh i forgot to put that she needed a waterproof digital camera because we’re going to Philippines and take the camera to beaches. What’s a good waterproof camera?

Muse asked: I have a kodak right now and i HATE IT.
I like photography but i am to poor to afford a really nice camera. But i take pictures all the time so i still want to invest in a nice, but still a little on the cheaper side, digital camera.

Zach G asked: I’m going on a study abroad trip to Australia and want to get a digital camera. I know pretty much nothing about them (I’ve never owned one) so I’m just looking for something that takes good pictures. However, I also was contemplating getting a video camera as well so I could record memories, so I want to know if there is a digital camera that is good at doing both?

cafeaukait asked: I’m looking to buy a digital camera. My price range is around $100-$250. I take pictures A LOT. The camera is practically attached to my hand. I would like the camera to have some nice features like color extraction, but mostly I would like quality pictures. That’s the most important thing to me. Also, I want something reliable. I bought a Kodak last September and burned out the flash bulb by this September. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Boobah asked: So I’m going to an amusement park and I’m hesitant to bring my digital camera. Disposable film cameras are always an option, I just hate not knowing what it looks like before it’s printed. My friend asked me about disposable digital cameras but I’m not sure I understand how it works. Are you able to scroll through pictures and delete them if you don’t like them? Do you connect it to your computer? Help?
wow didn’t realize it was ‘be-an-asshole’ day. You realize your answers aren’t even the least bit amusing cause I know it’s not a dumb question.

meggyblue22 asked: I’ve had two digital cameras in the last two years. The first was the Polaroid a700, which worked fine until after I dropped it a few times. It started malfunctioning and doing all sorts of weird things. Then I ended up breaking the screen. The next one I had was the Kodak EasyShare MD853. It was a good camera that had amazing mega pixels, but once again broke because it was dropped so much. I’m a clumsy person, and I need a good quality camera that can handle 4ft drops without breaking. Any ideas?
